Pastor Cubby Saulsberry

An Olive Branch, MS native and trucker and contractor by trade, Pastor Cubby Saulsberry is no stranger to the work of building — projects or people.

After graduating Southaven High School, he got certified and began a career in the trucking industry. His entrepreneurial spirit soon led the way to growth in business, and an eventual shift into the world of general contracting.

Pastor Cubby got his spiritual start in New Hope Baptist Church, under the leadership of Dr. Sherman L. Helton Sr. He dutifully held the offices of deacon, male chorus president, and even Pastor Helton’s armor bearer.

In 1997, he announced his call to the ministry of Gospel preaching, and he was licensed in June of 1998.

In July 2007, Pastor Cubby planted Greater Faith Church of Deliverance — which was later renamed Greater Faith Outreach Ministry — where he serves as senior pastor. He also graciously serves on the ministerial board for the mayor of Olive Branch.

Pastor Cubby married his sweetheart, Lady Cheryl Saulsberry, and they were blessed with two children: Cubby Terrell and Ashley Elizabeth. Pastor Cubby is also a father-in-love to Luvenia Saulsberry, as well as a proud new grandfather.
